To open all the FLASH documents in Energy Classroom, the Adobe ® Flash® Player - version 8 or higher - must be installed on your computer system.

Use this button to download a free Flash Player from Adobe.

DOWNLOAD PROCESS

1. Link to Adobe - Use the button above to link to the Adobe Flash Player download page. It will usually assess which type of computer you are using, and direct you to the Flash Player designed for your computer’s operating system. For Macintosh users, OS X or higher is required.

2. Confirm - Adobe confirms the computer operating system you are using, and provides download buttons.

3. Read Instructions - The download page includes instructions for installing the Flash Player. Review these before downloading.

4. Download - Press the appropriate download button. Adobe will download the Flash Player Installer to your computer.

5. Install - Open the Flash Player Installer program. Choose the browser into which you want the Flash Player installed. Click Install. It will confirm when it has installed successfully. Quit the Installer.

6. Open Flash Documents - You should now have what you need to view Flash documents online, and open them on your computer.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

If you have an earlier version of Flash installed on your computer, and you have difficulty installing the new Flash Player, we recommend uninstalling the earlier version before installing the new version. To do this, click the “More Players” link on the Flash Download page. Download the appropriate Uninstaller for your computer and browser. Open the Uninstaller, and follow its instructions. Then download the new Flash Player as described above.
